A World Above the Cloud is a delightful exploration and conservation board game inspired by Ladakh, a high-altitude mountain desert in the north western Indian Himalayas.

Explore Ladakh as Guardians and Storytellers on a beautifully illustrated map with over 100 gorgeous cards showcasing its Wilderness, Essentials, Culture, and even its Hazards. Perfect for families and board game enthusiasts, this light-to-medium strategy game weaves together themes of conservation, storytelling, and immersive gameplay into an unforgettable adventure. 

Gameplay Overview
 

In this engaging set-collection game, you’ll hike across the land to gather Elements and Seeds. But watch out — each Element you collect may trigger waves of Hazards that destroy precious Elements and threaten the Bees! You must overcome these challenges and protect sets of three crucial Elements (Wilderness, Essential and Culture) from each region in order to revive the lost Stories and win the game.

You can play this game in three ways:
 

• Cooperative Mode: Team up as Guardians of Ladakh to protect the Bees and restore the Stories of six regions together.

• Competitive Mode: Race to become the greatest Storyteller by weaving the most Stories from the six regions.

• Solo Mode: Embark on a personal journey to receive the lost Stories and protect Ladakh.
